The Orland Park Soccer Club mission statement is to provide a quality opportunity for the youth of the Orland Park area to play soccer. The Competitive Soccer Program is intended for those players who show an affinity for the game, and a desire to train for, and play a highly competitive level of soccer, essentially year round. Teams are established with the approval of the Orland Park Soccer Club Board of Directors. Open try-outs are held each June for all age groups. Teams typically start as early as the third grade (U-9)* and can continue through High School. Our Competitive Coaches are volunteers who have the requisite certifications required by the various leagues and the Illinois Youth Soccer Association. Through our Director of Training, additional assistance with team training is provided. Orland Park Soccer Club Competitive teams play at the highest levels in the Northern Illinois Soccer League, Illinois Women's Soccer League and the National Soccer League. Mr. Hugo Perez is the Competitive Program Director. His efforts are supported by the Competitive Committee and the Club's Director of Training, Mr. Pete Meletis.
