The Orland Park Soccer Club mission statement is to provide a quality opportunity for the youth of Orland Park to play soccer. In order to begin this mission, the Orland Park Soccer Club has developed a special program to introduce children into the game of soccer. Through a blend of instruction, demonstration, drills and application, the Orland Park Soccer Club's Kiddie Klinic is the first step. This program is designed for co-participation of 5 year olds and their parent/guardian. Instructors assist these children in learning the basic skills of soccer. Each session in the seven-week course presents a different aspect of dribbling, shooting, passing, receiving and teamwork to the child and parent/guardian. The program also affords the participant the opportunity to apply the presented skill sets each session in a controlled instructional game play. Through this combination of instruction and application it is the intent of the club to foster the child's interest in soccer and help establish a solid foundation for the child's skills development.

Kiddie Klinic is held each Fall usually starting the week after Labor Day and continuing for seven weeks. The program is open to all 5 year olds entering Kindergarten. A parent or guardian who is at least 16 years of age must accompany each participant for each session. All children are required to have a #3 soccer ball and must wear shin guards for each session. Gym shoes are appropriate and soccer shoes are optional.

Registration for this program is held in the spring and requires membership in the Orland Park Soccer Club. The program is limited to the first 200 children who register.
